Cyprus Health Tourism Council President Dr. Ahmet Savaşan, who published a message on the occasion of Teachers“ Day, pointed out that November 24th offers an important opportunity to better understand the values of teachers who raise us all. Pointing out that teachers have worked with great devotion during the COVID-19 outbreak process, using face-to-face communication as well as distance learning tools effectively so that our students do not experience losses in their education and training processes, Ahmet Savaşan said, ”We are grateful to all our teachers who work with devotion to ensure that education is not disrupted during the pandemic process".
Our people have always valued science and people of knowledge and wisdom...
Ahmet Savaşan underlined that the Chief Teacher Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said; ’The assurance of the future is based on an education based on solid foundations and education is based on teachers’ and said, “Within the framework of this understanding, paying the necessary attention to education, providing qualified education opportunities to all segments of society is an inevitable prerequisite for all kinds of economic and social development and exceeding the level of contemporary civilizations. The biggest role in this development belongs to our teachers, who touch hearts and minds, whom Atatürk called the ‘army of wisdom’. There is no doubt that a strong lore army is also possible with a qualified education system. Those who have studied our history know that our people have always valued science and people of knowledge and wisdom; they have always respected scientists, those who teach science, those who provide education, those who devote their lives for this cause, and they have embraced the only artist who does not have his signature on his work.”.
Teachers light the way for young people, the guarantee of our future...
Pointing out that this day is an exceptional day when the National Schools were opened and Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was given the title of Head Teacher, Ahmet Savaşan said, “devoting himself to the teaching profession, enlightening the path of our young generations, who are the guarantee of our future, for years in every corner of our country without giving up, We sincerely congratulate the November 24th Teachers” Day of all our teachers who tirelessly fulfill this sacred duty and work devotedly, our teacher candidate students, and our faculty members and staff at our universities who work for a modern world in the light of science and always aim forward.
